Hi, I’m John Eyres, an IT graduate, working through a few projects with an aim to work in IT. Being in the New Zealand bush and working on computers are big things in my life. Previously I was into economics (BBS Fin Econ, Massey) and teaching (Dip Teaching, Wellington). At the moment, I'm really into FreeCodeCamp, codewars, linux and Docker, Free Software (free as in freedom, not free beer) and eff.org! Palmy has a good Linux User Group and Software Development Group (co-founded by me). Um, what else? I’m an Open Source aficionado, jogger, family guy, serial IT meetup starter, extreme coffee drinker. I often think about Java, Javascript (ECMAscript 6), C++, C, html5, css, python, php, etc.
